A Wiggly Party!

This month we celebrated my son's second birthday in true Wiggles style! He's such a huge fan of the bright and cheery Australian quartet, how could I not throw him his very own Wiggly Party? Hoop-dee-doo! I am sure many other mother's out there can relate — my toddler is in love with this show but it's impossible to find Wiggly products anywhere. So for the past few months I've been visiting my local thrift stores and to my surprise have found that this is the place where all the forgotten Wiggles toys go once a child decides that he (or she) no longer needs a singing guitar, laughing feather sword or big red car filled with four grown-up men. We now have a rather extensive collection of toy guitars and singing cars, which (to my surprise) still work after all these years!

To invite our friends and family I designed this colourful card, incorporating the Wiggles theme and the number two. It was a hit with everyone, especially my little guy. My good friend Judy at Frostings by Judy created an amazing Wiggles guitar cake. My son kept trying to pick it up and play with it! And of course no party would be complete without some loot to take home — which included a cd of the birthday boy's favourite Wiggly tunes, complete with custom cd covers and labels.

Are you in need of custom birthday invitations and party stationery for your little one? Get in touch to start your order today! For all remaining 2010 custom birthday designs we're including a dozen favour tags free with every purchase of $25 or more (just mention this blog post).
